Be careful paying with a PayPal "Friend" payment -- it is permitted, but is often requested by scammers, as it removes PayPal's buyer/seller protection.
Check all buyers/sellers by going to their page. Each user's date of registration and ratings are shown just below their username. Don't send more money than you are prepared to lose to a new seller, or a seller without good ratings (unless you can independently verify them). Beware banned users and odd-sounding purchase requests/scams! Don't email us; just be wise. If in doubt, contact a seller by phone or try to verify their name/address on the web or through a neutral third party (scammers can easily create throw-away email and PayPal accounts). |
