Immerse yourself in a jungle setting learning about the fish, birds and animals that call it home.
The owners of the now closed Creation Kingdom Zoo are opening a brand new learning facility in Kingsport, TN.
Marc Bradley, a spokesperson for Expedition Untamed, shared a little bit more about the project and what visitors will be able to expect in the coming months.
“I think that Expedition Untamed, it’s not just about allowing people to see animals, it’s about teaching people about the entire ecosystem,” Bradley said. “If we destroy rainforests, then we’re going to destroy the habitat where animals live.”
Scheduled to be located at 146 Broad St., Bradley said the business will emphasize educational opportunities to inform the public about animals and their habitats they might not otherwise get to experience up close.
He said there are plans for live animals to be a part of the experience when it opens.
