Students ages 12-14
(Students must be 12 by September 30th. Students may be older than 14.)
A trained-parent tutor will review/preview information that is being taught by the parents during the week. Focus will be on facilitating conversations about student's studies and helping them make connections among the subjects and life experiences.
The topics of study include the following:
Grammar:
Henle Latin I
Exposition & Composition/Literature:
Using Lost Tools of Writing to help students think and write persuasivley about the Literature they are reading
Debate:
Geography: Learning how to draw World Map and features by memory
Research:
Biology & Natural Science
Rhetoric:
Clear reasoning & Apologetics
Logic:
Math
*Meet on Monday's for two 15 week sessions.
