This is a non-auditioned experience for 1st to 3rd graders; children are introduced to choral music & sing in a choir where learning, & fun take place. Great way to explore their interest in music & singing.
Students meet 1 time per week. Each lesson has been created to cleverly & energetically combine the learning of musical skills, group singing, & play-like activities. First part of rehearsal includes vocal warm ups & exercises. Second half is devoted to active learning through musical games, folk dancing, or playing simple percussion instruments. Students learn about proper breathing, singer’s posture, & developing basic music reading skills.
Tuition is $375, with a $60 non refundable registration fee. Contact the ICC office for second semester pricing. Tuition covers all materials for your child for the year & you may pay in full or pay in monthly direct debits from a checking account. There are several regional locations.
