Weaving Class
Elementary level children and up
Come weave with us! You will learn the basics of weaving, including, being able to identify all of the major parts of the loom. Try your hand at using one of our looms. You will create a bookmark to take home, using a cardboard loom. Take a tour of our latest special exhibit, “Behind the Veil: Brides and their Dresses” which will feature many examples of various types of woven textiles. This program will offer kids a full introduction to weaving. Creative kids will love the experience! Kids who need the boost of creative enrichment may discover a new activity!
