Rock Valley College is home to a pair of renowned theater
programs.
Summers come alive at RVC with Starlight Theatre, featuring four
productions and held in the beautiful, and one-of-a-kind Bengt Sjostrom
Theatre on the main campus. With its one of a kind retractable roof, every
night is a perfect night for a show. Starlight brings some of the best
known productions to Rockford, and in recent years will debut an original
work.
Studio Theatre enjoys a more intimate setting for productions throughout
the winter. Whether it's a Christie murder mystery or an original work,
audiences feel a part of the play.
