The park contains the restored buildings of Fort Wilkins, an Army post built
in the
1840s to protect copper miners. Refurbished buildings may be toured and
costumed
staff portray life at the fort during the summer months. Open daily 8-dusk
Memorial
Day to mid-Oct. Admission $6 per in-state vehicle.
