Music is more than just notes on a page. It's communication. It relays messages we can’t express with words alone and brings the most unlike people together.
All my students will have a strong education in theory, ear-training, performance techniques, as well as music history related to the repertoire assigned. I also emphasize the importance and ability to be able to apply the learning objectives and skills of classical training to all genres of music. As a firm believer no two people are alike, everyone learns the same things; however, the methods are all uniquely tailored to each student. My goal is to have each student be a well-rounded, educated musician who will have a lifelong passion for the art no matter their long-term goals.
