See history come to life in unique settings such as a 46-foot river keelboat, an 1860's era depot or the cabinet shop where delegates stood to sign the Alabama State Constitution in 1819.

The Homeschool History Academy (preregistration REQUIRED!) is a selection of programs created just for homeschool students. The programs, held at the EarlyWorks Museum Complex, are based on a variety of history topics and are designed for parents and children to participate together. Academy classes are held from 10am until 12pm.

Each two-hour session includes:
• Approximately 30 minutes of learning lab instruction,
• 1 1/2 hours of active and hands-on activities, and related take-home worksheets with vocabulary and suggestions for more in-depth study.

Adm. charged. Open T-Sat 9-4.
