A Beka Book
Arithmetic 2
Grades: 2 to 2
Students begin to learn new concepts right away as they review concepts from first grade. A daily seatwork page is entirely review, while the daily classwork page contains practice of a new concept and practice of review concepts. Six themes—pond, transportation, children around the world, jungle, workers and helpers, and camping—create interest and teach facts. The book and curriculum provide continuous practice in place value, addition, subtraction, multiplication, division, fractions, money, temperature, time, perimeter, story problems, estimation, rounding, graphs, the ruler, and English and metric measures. Clear explanations and abundant practice make carrying and borrowing easy for the students. Teacher Curriculum guide necessary for class content.

Pros: We are using grades K and 3 math by A-Beka. They are excellent! Each new idea is broken down into small steps that are explained clearly in each lesson and the abundance of review ensures my kids really know what they are doing.
Cons:
